Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 is one of the most popular sports nutrition items on GNC.com.  There are a lot of questions being asked in the “Ask a Question” section of the GNC.com product page for this product.  We’ve pulled a few questions to give you answers on this top selling protein formula.

Q: "Is it best to use this product pre workout or post workout? Should it replace a meal?"- Mike from Atlanta, GA

You can use it pre, post, or both; the ideal time to take it is post-workout on training days and first thing in the morning on non-training days. In the clinical study, which demonstrated increased strength and muscle size when using the whey protein and leucine blend in this product, subjects took the blend within 30 minutes post-exercise on training days and first think in the morning on days they didn’t exercise.

Amp_whey_60_chocolatePer the product label users should consume 3 scoops (79g) of Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 in 12 oz. of cold water 30 minutes after your workout. On non-training days, consume 3 scoops first thing in the morning. For extreme results take twice a day, pre-and post-workout. This product is typically not used to replace a meal.

Q: "Can I mix this product in other things like milk or oj?" - Wayne

You can mix this product with other liquid besides water but keep in mind the nutritional profile of your shake will change depending on what you are mixing the Pro Performance AMP Wheybolic 60 with. The nutritional profile on the label of the actual product is representative of mixing the product with water.

Q: "What is the difference between this product and Whey Isolate 28? I have had great experiences with the other GNC Pro Performance product but I am curious about this AMP line as a potential upgrade." - Tennis_player21 from Milwaukee, WI

Though both Whey Isolate 28 and Pro Performance AMP Wheybolic 60 are protein products there are some differences between the two. Pro Performance AMP Wheybolic 60 has 60 grams of protein in a serving while Whey Isolate 28 has 28 grams of protein. Pro Performance AMP Wheybolic also has 140 more calories and 3 grams of carbohydrates per serving than the Whey Isolate 28. If you are looking for a bigger dose of protein Pro Performance AMP Wheybolic 60 would be the choice for you. Amp_whey_60_vanilla

The key difference is that Pro Performance AMP Wheybolic Extreme 60 features a clinically proven blend of whey protein + added leucine proven to increase muscle strength, size, and stamina.^ Whey Isolate 28 doesn’t have the added leucine for the extra anabolic effects.

Q: "Is GNC Pro Performance AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 - Vanilla by GNC Pro Performance AMP great for Women?" - Gordon the Newbie from Queens NY

Yes! Pro Performance AMP Wheybolic 60 is great for anyone looking for a fantastic protein product. With 60 grams of protein it is made entirely from the highest quality, fast-absorbing forms of whey protein: isolates and hydrolysates.

Q: "Does this product have any caffeine? I am sensitive to it." - Ru from PA

No, Pro Performance AMP Wheybolic 60 does not contain caffeine.
